STADIUM SEAT ADAPTER

The Spectator Pro Stadium Seat Adapter is a concept designed in an industry practice class in collaboration with Under Armour. The project task was to analyze Under Armour's product range and consumer audience to identify a new niche market and develop a product to capitalize on it. I chose sports fans as my target audience, and developed a seat adapter for a stadium bleacher to make sideline experience as enjoyable as possible.

The seat adapter slides under the bleacher bench, and the seat back is created when the reversible cover is slid over the poles. Leaning back in the seat causes the system to recline and grip the bench tightly. The device is lightweight, easy to carry, and weather resistant. The poles slide out and magnetically attach to the base, and the cover can be wrapped around to contain the set.

For families and friends on the sidelines, the Spectator Pro transforms the bleachers from an uncomfortable necessity to a comfortable seat--enhancing their experience instead of detracting from it. It provides back support and prevents bad posture whether you're there for one game or an all-day tournament. The cover keeps your seat a comfortable texture instead of seasonally hot or cold metal, and one side is waterproof for the games that go on despite inclement weather.

The seat is also totally customizable for your team preferences. League, high school, college, or professional, there's a color combination or embroidered collaboration for you. Have multiple teams or sports? Just buy another cover.
