ROBO-CHAMELEON
The CHM-X07 is a concept for a futuristic reconnaissance drone, adapting the defining characteristics of a chameleon to function as data-gathering, defense, and attack mechanisms.
The aesthetic design was heavily influenced by the sleek, minimalist look of luxury modern technology. Besides giving the drone a cutting-edge feel, the smooth contours contrasting against sharper mechanical edges lend to a futuristic appearance.
An experiment in CAD modeling, functional components and imaginative concept art, the CHM-X07 is far from a standard drone. The small pointed toes feature environmental sensors and mimic a lizard's grip. A series of small environment-replicating projectors give the drone the chameleon's ability to blend into its surroundings. As a recon robot, these features, along with the multiple orbital cameras serving as eyes, distinguish the CHM-X as a unique and highly functional recon robot. And of course, like any good futuristic droid, there are plenty of surprise features.
